Jordan 5 Low brings in the Chinese New Year with a tear-away upper revealing something special underneath. Releasing January 23rd retailing for $215, the upcoming AJ 5 Low starts off with a simple Sail mesh covering the entire upper. Additionally, Sail works its way into the mudguard and rubber outsole.
White laces and quarter panel grids create the perfect contrast with the Chile Red eyestays, lace toggle, tongue and sock liners, and mudguard accents. Likewise a brilliant Red Jumpman almost pops off the stark Black tongue. Chinese symbols for “23” appear in a festive banner embroidered across the heal. Likewise, the same banner is used to create the Air Jordan reserve tongue liner.
Subsequently, a mix of patterns in Green, Yellow, White and Red appears faintly visible beneath the mesh surface. But only time will show whats below. So, do you think the Air Jordan 5 Low “Chinese New Year” will be worth the cop at the end of January?
